I could apologize for my lack of posting for this month, but I won’t. I’ve been running a hamster wheel of conferences, dealing with death in the family, and remembrances. And I’m pretty tired and worn out from all of this.
I’ve come out of this deciding that I can’t keep up a track a week. Having done it for 62 weeks is enough for me. But I am more interested in exploring less improvised, more structured tracks like this one above, which requires much more work from me. Maybe I will release them once a month, I will see.
This track is an attempt to write something shorter and sweeter, with more of a pop structure. It’s a work in progress, so be kind.
Beautiful, particularly when that singular line starts to cut through the reverb.
I’d love to hear something similar, but one where the reverbed elements drop out occasionally to leave a line such as that, before the lovely spacious sounds come back in.
